KEITH ANGELIN, LAADC is a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC). As director of Counseling, Intervention & Assessment Services (San Diego) he treats men, women, adolescents and families; all races, faiths, sexual orientations and economic backgrounds; military; court ordered (DUI, DMV, FAA, marital, child custody and other legal issues); and those with co‐occurring disorders. In addition to treating chemical dependency, he specializes in crisis interventions, and is a leading provider of comprehensive substance abuse assessments for San Diego Superior Court, where he also serves as an expert witness on the subject of substance abuse.   

Keith received his counseling certification at the University of California, San Diego; and his master's degree at Hofstra University, in New York. He began his counseling career working with the Salvation Army Adult Recovery Center located in the heart of downtown San Diego. He then served as Counseling Supervisor for a multi-facility treatment program, before entering into private practice.  He is the author of AT HOME RECOVERY HANDBOOK: Recover From Alcohol and Drug Addiction in 28-Days At Home!. He lectures on his experience with addiction-recovery and is an expert writer on the subject for numerous publications. He supports PATRIOTIC HEARTS', a charity providing essential services and assistance to United States military veterans and their families. Previously he sat on the board of the San Diego chapter of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. Over the years, as a member of Saddleback Church, he donated his time to serving the local community through various outreach programs.

Prior to chemical dependency counseling, he spent two-decades as a marketing executive in the health and nutrition industry, holding executive positions with leading companies such as Weight Watchers and MET-Rx. He has worked with many professional athletes and celebrities, including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, and the Dallas Cowboys. That was before he became addicted to drugs and alcohol. His decade-long battle left him bankrupt, homeless, friendless, divorced and legally dead on three occasions. Now he helps fellow sufferers and their families recover from this devastating affliction.
